”Different archetypes influence the complexity within men.
They are in play creating ease or difficulty with which men can conform to expectations.
There is a cost to their deepest and most authentic selves.”

Everyone living on this planet is called to live the fullest expression of themselves without doing harm to another. The old patterns of the world are breaking down and each of us is called to move forward, not from the “old way” but from a new way that is true to us and brings us life.

What does that look like for me?

John G. Bennett, student of George Gurdjieff teaches us that we all carry the archetypal stories of our shared history. Each of us is called to not only break down the patterns gifted to us by our parents, but to also embrace the wisdom of historical heroes and heroines. Their stories live on in all our lives and have much to teach us.

The book, The God’s in Every Man, by Jean Shinoda Bolen expands on eight Greek god’s and the stories of their lives.

Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Apollo, Hermes, Ares, Hephaestus, and Dionysus are gods that each carry a story of us as modern men. Their triumphs and failures have much to teach and console us.

Over nine months we will explore the light and shadow sides of their stories and how we relate to each. Along the way revealing insights that can and will help us grow.

This group is open to anyone who identifies as a man.

A copy of this book will be required for this study group.

This study group will:

  • Offer new perspectives on revealing who we are and what we need as men

  • Teach about the law of three and how to open to opposites

  • Establish a safe space for honest sharing and exchanges

  • Share practices that help us cultivate new ways of engaging the world.
