What is Prairie Jubilee?
Prairie Jubilee is a two-year experience in self-development and self-realization focused on the ancient symbol of the enneagram.
At Prairie Jubilee, we seek to explore the interrelationship of body, soul and spirit using the wisdom of the enneagram. This ancient symbol helps us deepen our understanding of the nature of personality, its place of service to our deeper self and to the world. We welcome all seekers to discover the deeper meaning of our lives and learn how to process the thoughts, emotions and reactions of life’s experiences. Only through this processing can we see who we truly are.
YEAR ONE - centres on self-knowledge and spiritual formation, exploring the topics of contemplation, discernment, and transformation, to name a few. The teachings and practices of this year take place over 16 months.
YEAR TWO - focuses on the art of spiritual direction and developing skills in deep listening. This year of practicum includes one-to-one supervision, peer supervision and extensive skills developement.

YEAR ONE is an invitation to grow in self-knowledge through the ancient symbol of the enneagram and its revealing of the universal laws of transformation. It involves:
understanding oneself and others
being faithful to one’s spiritual life
opening to the world of spirit while being grounded in sacred traditions
finding practices that nourish our heart, body and mind
Year One ONLINE Teaching Components include:
8 modules delivered on Zoom & 1 Optional in-person retreat
MODULE ONE: The Prairie Jubilee “Container”
1 evening, 1 day, 1 morning— September 25, 26 & 27, 2026
MODULE TWO: The Contemplative Life:
Half hour morning spiritual practices sessions every two weeks. Schedule given out in class.
MODULE THREE: Self-Knowing — The Enneagram
1 evening, 1 day, 1 morning — October 16, 17 & 18, 2026
1 evening, 1 day, 1 morning — December 11, 12 & 13, 2026
MODULE FOUR: Deep Listening - Journey Group
1 evening, 1 day, 1 morning — November 13, 14 & 15, 2026 - Additional Day - November 21, 2026
MODULE FIVE: Instinctual Subtypes The Enneagram
1 evening, 1 day, 1 morning — January 8, 9 & 10, 2027
MODULE SIX: Online Silent Retreat
1 evening, 2 days — February 12, 13 & 14, 2027
MODULE SEVEN: Discernment - Body, Soul, Spirit
1 evening, 1 day, 1 morning — April 9, 10 & 11, 2027
MODULE EIGHT: “More” In-Person Retreat
1 evening, 2 days, 1 morning — June 3, 4, 5 & 6, 2027 (Optional)**
MODULE NINE: CLOSING THE CIRCLE:
1 evening— June 14, 2027
*Each student will be matched with a reader-mentor who will receive and reflect on written work and offer support throughout the year.
**Each student is required to attend regular spiritual direction with a director of their choice.
**MODULE EIGHT: “More” In-Person Retreat is optional and cost of this retreat is not included in Year One tuition.
Student Components include:
Assigned and supplementary reading and recordings
Reflective assignments
Facilitation of ONLINE or in-person Journey Group
Regular spiritual direction

YEAR TWO

THE ART OF SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
– Answering a Call to Be of Service –
This ONLINE year of training in the Art of Spiritual Direction starts September of 2027
Applications are welcome spring of 2027
YEAR TWO focuses on the Art of Spiritual Direction. This year is open to those who have completed Year One, as well as those who wish to return to Prairie Jubilee for further skill development. An experiential year with peer and one-to-one supervision is an essential part of Prairie Jubilee spiritual director preparation.
Year Two’s practicum focuses on developing skills in deep listening. This level of deep listening can be used, not only to support others, but can also be the doorway to developing our higher sense of being through our awareness of Soul and Spirit. How you take these skills into the world is up to you. Many graduates have applied this new set of skills to their own vocation.
To complete this year each participant will need to secure 3-4 directees for the practicum.
