Most of us live our lives hiding from our shadow selves. The shadow Self is that part of us that we feel is not really supporting the advancement of who we think we “ought to be”.
We each have a sense of what best supports a “worthwhile” self-image. The Self that is productive, fearless and interesting. Crafting this image takes a lot of our time and we hope it will attract the life society tells us to dream of.
There is one problem. My shadow Self keeps tugging at my pant leg to get my attention. It may even sabotage my growth and loving relationships. What are we doing with the parts of us that we do not want? If we do not become aware of these aspects we will use them for harm. How can these shadowy aspects be transformed as I work to find my highest potential?
Using the lines inside of the enneagram, we will explore our relationship with the shadow selves that live in each of us. Come learn how our shadows are actually guides for growing our True Selves.
In this study group we will:
Better understand or relationship to our shadow-selves
Reveal new aspects of what each of us values
Discover new ways of seeing ourselves and others.
Open up our understanding of where and why we shut down
Meet self-compassion in a new way

Dale Bially has worked extensively with the enneagram in his professional and personal life since 1993. Under the guidance of my mentors Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh (students of Bob Ochs), he completed the Enntrain: Inspirited and Embodied Enneagram training program in 2012 and began teaching workshops and study groups with Inscapes Centre for Enneagram Studies. In 2012 he began working with the leadership team of Prairie Jubilee, to train spiritual directors and help other seekers find the truth of whom they are and how to live differently making our world a better place.
