Embodied And Soulful Connections - The Virtues Of The Enneagram

IN-PERSON MOVEMENT GROUP with Dale Bially & Ama Mann

Sunday Mornings - November 19, December 3, 17, January 7, 21, 2024, February 18, March 3, 17, 31 April, 28, 2024

“Virtues are born out of our outer lives as well as our inner lives. If we choose to listen deeply, we can faintly hear our next essential action.”

As self-evolving organisms, we can unconsciously hold ourselves separate from our life-giving universe. We learn to hold tightly to anxiety, caught in our thoughts about what the future may bring. We can drown ourselves in shame brought on by concern for how others see us. And we can feel exhausted through the wasting of energy, doing all the things that really do not matter to us. All this moves us further away from our TRUTH.

The enneagram shines a light on the earthly patterns that keep us locked in our automatic ways of dealing with life.   Growing up, we needed certain skills to become the productive citizens we are. Thinking, feeling and acting as we were told helped us arrive at this point in our lives. These actions were necessary.  But now we Wish for more.

Each vice on the enneagram offers a spiritual practice of awareness as a counterbalance. We call these “Virtues”. These Virtues are not something we make happen in the world, but instead they provide us with spirit-clues so that we, as individuals, can create the conditions to receive them.

Come spend ten Sunday mornings learning to enspirit your actions in the world. By working with Heart and Mind; and using Dru postures for conscious movement in the Body, we will till our inner soil and allow a new Soulful awareness to sprout.

Dru Grounding my Body’s Wisdom

Dru meditations and yoga techniques, are inspired by the teachings of Francis of Assisi and Mahatma Gandhi. Dru comes from the Sanskrit word dhruva which means ‘coming to a still point’. Using Dru techniques we will, not only engage our heads and our hearts in new teachings, but we will also embody these teachings, thereby anchoring the wisdom.

This event is offered through the Inscapes Centre for Enneagram Studies and Inspired Enneagram

The cost for each session is $75 per class. Discounts are available for those in need. Please contact Dale to find out more.

Dale Bially has worked extensively with the enneagram in his professional and personal life since 1993. Under the guidance of my mentors Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh (students of Bob Ochs), he completed the Enntrain: Inspirited and Embodied Enneagram training program in 2012 and began teaching workshops and study groups with Inscapes Centre for Enneagram Studies. In 2012 he began working with the leadership team of Prairie Jubilee, to train spiritual directors and help other seekers find the truth of whom they are and how to live differently making our world a better place.
