Wenda Salomons
Wondering about and connecting with the Holy has been my life’s occupation. In my early years I explored this desire in various Christian churches and practices. Later in life, I expanded my learning to include other expressions of spirituality such as, poetry, music, film, and dance. Throughout my spiritual life, the arts, silence, and nature have been meaningful companions for me.
I see spiritual accompaniment as a practice of mutually exploring the presence and movement of the Holy in one’s life. In my work, I use both the arts and silence as key methods of connection to self and to the Holy. I consider the natural world to be a profound spiritual teacher and I weave nature into my practice when appropriate.
My educational background includes the visual arts, education, and theology. Since 2015, I have worked as a spiritual care practitioner in the healthcare system. In pursuit of additional avenues of service, I completed the two-year SoulGuiding program in spring 2025. I continue to be curious and to seek out the many paths of connection to the Holy. I maintain a visual arts practice as an avenue of personal and spiritual expression.
It is my joy to be present, to witness, and to accompany others as they grow spiritually. I welcome the opportunity to work with folks of all spiritual or religious expressions, gender expressions, and human experiences. I offer sessions in-person or by video, using a sliding fee scale.
“Being witness to another person’s process is a sacrament and a gift offered back to them.” — Christine Valters Paintner
