● Peacemaking Circles Training

I have enjoyed 24 years in pastoral ministry within the Mennonite Church, during this time, I received spiritual direction training through Jubilee, which gave me the opportunity to practice spiritual discernment with the church leadership board as well as accompanying individuals on their spiritual journeys. Currently at Five Oaks Centre, I develop and facilitate programs that focus on rest and renewal, truth and reconciliation, and sharing circles. My continuous learning has included conflict management, Circle Process, Enneagram, and racial healing.

As a Spiritual Companion

I believe in the transformative power of holding space for individuals and small groups. My approach is built on non-judgment, compassion, curiosity, and wonder, recognizing each person's spiritual path as unique and sacred. I consider deep listening to be a sacred art, creating a space for individuals to be seen, valued, and supported, and encouraging them to embrace their spiritual path with courage and authenticity. I invite individuals to be present in each moment, find meaning and purpose in the ordinary, and grow in their own understanding of self.

As an outdoor adventurer, connection to the land has been central to my spiritual grounding and connection to Creator. I experience the natural world as a great teacher and have a deep appreciation for eco-therapy and nature-based practices as well as labyrinth, lectio and visio divina, the Daily Examen, guided meditation and silence.

Spiritual direction – available in person in Bright and at Five Oaks Centre, by phone or electronically. I am open to walk & talks; personal overnight retreats with spiritual accompaniment can be booked through Five Oaks.
