“There are ones who'll keep us sleeping and ones who'll bring the dawn.
Put your back to the birch and your mind to a listening kind of way.
We are made of dust and silence.
We are made of ancient song.”
Ayla Nereo (Turning Wake)

As a Spiritual Companion:
I'm someone who's lived a lot of life. I'm a survivor of intimate partner violence and traumatic loss. I channel my mental health challenges into spiritual practice.
I'm an artist and a seeker. I work with dreams, tarot, ritual, and creativity as doorways to the sacred. I've spent years working in the healthcare space always asking: How do we create space for healing? How do we imagine better futures?
I'm a settler of Swabian and Irish descent, living and practicing on Anishinabek land. I'm learning to decolonize my mind and spirit, and to be in right relationship with this land that welcomes me.
I accompany others because I know what it's like to need companioning. I know grief. I know recovery. I know the terrifying beauty of spiritual transformation. I know what it's like to wrestle with impossible questions about suffering, meaning, why we're here, or how to live with what we cannot change. And I know that we need each other to find our way.
I live in the woods of Northern Ontario with my beautiful wife and our dog Priya, where I'm learning to listen to the land and tend the sacred in the ordinary.
