Kathy Fraser

I am a retired Presbyterian minister living in Kincardine, Ontario. I served the church in educational, pastoral and leadership ministries in southwestern Ontario for close to forty years.

In January 2022, I completed training in Spiritual Direction/Accompaniment through the Ontario Jubilee program.

My love for metaphor leads me to describe my own spiritual journey as one that has, at times, taken me through joyous meadows of verdant greens and brightly coloured flowers. I have experienced wonderful moments of resting by calm, cool streams of deepest blues. I have also wandered through wildernesses of windswept sand where there was little to enable me to find my bearings. I have walked over rough, rocky roads of anxiety and doubt, and on more than one occasion, I have found myself in the cavernous depths of profound loss and grief.

Through it all, I have been grateful for spiritual companions and mentors who have listened deeply to my stories, and have done so with an ear and heart attentive to the abiding presence of God/Spirit/Sacred Mystery/Holy Other.

It is these experiences, and an awakening to the prompting and leading of Spirit that have led me to this time in my life of being able to offer deep listening and spiritual accompaniment to others.

Together, and in the company of Sacred Mystery, I invite you to be open to the transforming power of Divine Love as it is operative in the still places of the heart as well as in the sometimes chaotic swirl of life in the cosmos.

I offer spiritual accompaniment by phone, zoom, or Facetime
