Be: Summer Silent Retreat

June 9 - 12, 2022

with Lois Huey-Heck

Naramata Centre, Naramata, BC

Come and find your quiet centre in three days of introduction — or return — to the grace of silence in a small group. You may be in a time of discernment, at a threshold in your life, or simply ready for rest and renewal. The sacred space of Naramata Centre will hold us as we come seeking guidance, healing, and inspiration. We will bring our whole selves as we explore several spiritual practices that are compatible with Silence.

The retreat begins at 4 pm on Thursday, June 9 and ends with lunch on Sunday, June 12.

Each morning begins with Sacred Pause in the chapel and ends with evening Vespers.

Friday and Saturday include individual spiritual direction sessions.

Retreat cost of $625 includes:

•      private accommodation and bathroom in Orchard Court

•      three meals per day in the Columbia dining room: Thursday dinner to Sunday lunch

•      individual spiritual direction (two sessions approximately 45 minutes each)

•      site fees, supplies, and morning and evening community times in the chapel

Bursary funds are available — apply to the Heartwood Bursary at Naramata Centre.

We will email registrants before the retreat to clarify any Covid-19 protocols that may be in effect.

This retreat is offered through the partnership of Pacific Jubilee and Naramata Centre

Lois Huey-Heck

has been leading silent retreats since 2007. She loves the possibilities that quiet offers and the simple miracles that come when we reconnect to ourselves, creation, and Spirit — all in the gentle holding of Silence and in the reassuring company of others.
