A Few More Contemplatives for the World

Saturday morning, while most of Canada was awaking to their weekend of busyness, something quite beautiful happened. 

The participants of Prairie Jubilee Cycle 12 gathered for the closing of their two-year journey. These 11 fledgling spiritual directors will now move into the world to be of service in whatever way they are called. 

Some of them will go on to be spiritual directors, and some will use their wisdom to offer support in different ways.  

A few will enhance their ministry, a few will integrate what they learned into their current professions, but the larger part of the cohort will bring a new way of deep listening to their daily lives.  

Friends, family and strangers alike, will have the good fortune to interact with these caring beings who have spent the last two years practicing deep listening and self-awareness.  All who interact with them will be affected and many will be changed. 

Thank-you to these 11 individuals who have spent that last two years emersed in a self-exploration like no other.  The world welcomes you with open arms.
