My name is Laura Sundberg and I am a spiritual accompanier. Spiritual accompaniers are also known as spiritual directors, soul guides, soul friends. I am here to be beside you, as you undertake your life journey.

I love doing spiritual accompaniment. I find great joy in listening to people’s life experiences and offering questions to help them notice the connecting places between their experience and that which spiritually sustains them/ gives them life. I listen to both what is said, and the energy associated with the words/stories.

I also enjoy doing spiritual group facilitation work for groups who are in a time of transition. It is a form of group spiritual accompaniment. 

I completed the Soul Guiding Program of the Pacific Jubilee Program (2023-2025).  I am a retired, accredited minister of the United Church of Canada with 30 years’ experience in urban and rural ministry.  I have completed the Educational Supervisors Course to supervise student ministers in the United Church of Canada. I am an educator/activist in the areas of peace and social justice. I feel a connection with all of life through mysticism and the power of Silence. I am a partner, parent of a young adult and a stepmother of two daughters in their 50’s.

You might be wondering what happens in a spiritual accompaniment session.  Our session starts with the lighting of a candle.  Your questions, struggles, stories, joys, hopes, fears, are the focus for our conversations. Should spiritual exploration be new to you, I can help you find spiritual language that resonates with you.  I may also suggest spiritual practices that are a good fit for you to help you connect with the Holy.

We meet for one hour.  We can meet in person, on-line or by telephone.

I charge per session on a sliding scale. The first session is no cost as we explore if we are a good fit to do this life-giving, heart-opening work together.

I live in Regina, Saskatchewan, on Treaty Four Territory.
