Touched by Words:
The Companionship of Poets 2026

Online with Tim Scorer
Six Tuesdays: March 10, 17, 24, 31, April 7, 14, 2026
6-8 pm Pacific time

With just a splash of words on a page, poets can take us to the heart of things. We suddenly see the concerns of a day or a lifetime through a frame of words that are full of spirit, meaning, and beauty. In these six Tuesday evening gatherings we will read poems and have the conversations that naturally flow from the reading. The character of these meetings is invitational, safe, reflective, and affirming. No previous positive experiences of poetry required!

This is the twelfth poetry series that Tim Scorer has offered through Naramata Centre. Tim will choose a variety of poems for each of the six evenings organized around themes which generally emerge from the lively conversations of the group. For more information email Tim at timscorer@gmail.com.

This event is offered through the partnership of Pacific Jubilee and Naramata Centre.

Ages: 18+

The cost for six sessions via Zoom is $224.00.

Register now and receive 20% off listed prices. Offer valid until March 2, 2026.

Tim Scorer

Six decades ago, Tim stumbled into teaching in a high school English classroom. It was clear from the outset that he didn’t have the life experience to make a difference for those young people. Now he ‘gets’ how poetry moves and matters. He likes nothing better than to sit with a group of poetry lovers and offer accompaniment in uncovering truths of our human experience that poets can hold and reveal.  Read about Tim’s spiritual direction practice here.
