“The Holy Ideas are not about changing your mind, but changing your perspective.”
Claudio Naranjo named the nine ways we close off the reality of our lives. He called these “fixations” and when we are caught in their repetitive loops, we develop a distorted sense of our lives and whose around us. We develop clever ways of pushing away reality itself.
The word “holy” comes from the word “whole”. To be “whole” is to be complete.
When we understand our enneagram fixations, we begin cracking open the compulsive crust that has formed around our Essential Selves. It gives us a taste of what our own wholeness can feel like. When we touch it, we begin to see how there are many ways of opening more.
Our journey to understanding the Holy Ideas of the enneagram, begins with the opening to the interconnectedness of humans and the rest of our universe. In our opening to that which is greater than us, we receive support to touch the Eternal Truths of this life.
This study group will:
Stretch our understanding of how we see the world
Help us discover hidden gifts
Share practices that help ground us
Challenge our judgments of ourselves and others
This event is offered through the Inscapes Centre for Enneagram Studies

Dale Bially has worked extensively with the enneagram in his professional and personal life since 1993. Under the guidance of my mentors Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh (students of Bob Ochs), he completed the Enntrain: Inspirited and Embodied Enneagram training program in 2012 and began teaching workshops and study groups with Inscapes Centre for Enneagram Studies. In 2012 he began working with the leadership team of Prairie Jubilee, to train spiritual directors and help other seekers find the truth of whom they are and how to live differently making our world a better place.
