Summer Retreat:
The Enneagram’s Gift of Discernment

Thursday June 20th to Sunday, June 23rd

Nurturing a time of Inner Growth for Prairie Jubilee Alum and Students

Prairie Jubilee is excited to once again invite past and present Jubilee seekers to our annual 3-day, summer retreat at Sandy Saulteaux Spiritual Center in Beausejour, Manitoba. A contemplative gathering of kindred souls. Our retreat time will include wisdom sharing, movement, and music. All who attend will also take part in an indoor labyrinth walk.

“You have a place in the unfolding of the universe
and the gift of how to look, listen, and intuit for
the clues/signs that allow the Greater Will to guide you.”

Enneagram of Discernment - Prairie Jubilee Summer Retreat - June 20 to 23, 2024

Too often we are not sure of our next steps. We lose confidence in how to move forward, or even where to begin.

The wisdom of the enneagram unfolds in many ways. The nine points on the enneagram, not only present us with our unique gifts and spiritual work, they also reveal nine distinct calls for personal discernment. Movement around the nine points of the enneagram can bring each of us to a deeper understanding of the world we live in. This journey can also invite us to specific tasks if we are willing.

Are we ready to attend to what is important, not only to us as humans, but also to what is needed for the world? By learning to open ourselves to a discerning way of living, we are able to live a more complete life, informed by the Unknown, the Mystery and the Holy.

What do you need?

What does your Soul need?

And where is Spirit leading you?

Over this contemplative weekend we will travel around the enneagram of discernment. First securing who we are called to be, and then finding ways of taking that person out into the world in a meaningful way.

RETREAT LEADERSHIP:

Cheryl Kinney-Matheson

Cheryl Kinney Matheson is a graduate of Prairie Jubilee, a member of Spiritual Directors International, and an Ordained Minister within the United Church of Canada. She has served in congregations in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario for 28 years and lives in Kenora, Ontario.  She says that Prairie Jubilee transformed her pastoral ministry.  The metaphor of ‘Pilgrimage’ for life’s journey, introduced to Cheryl through Prairie Jubilee, resulted in her Camino walk in 2011.  Cheryl has participated in the Enntrain Worshops with Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh and has led ‘Intro to the Enneagram’ workshops in her home community.  Cheryl enjoys facilitating small group opportunities for prayer/meditation/reflection and labyrinth walks.  Quiet sitting, reading, walking, camping and knitting are activities of enjoyment.

Dale Bially has worked extensively with the enneagram in his professional and personal life since 1993. Under the guidance of my mentors Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh (students of Bob Ochs), he completed the Enntrain: Inspirited and Embodied Enneagram training program in 2012 and began teaching workshops and study groups with Inscapes Centre for Enneagram Studies. In 2012 he began working with the leadership team of Prairie Jubilee, to train spiritual directors and help other seekers find the truth of whom they are and how to live differently making our world a better place.
