Be Still: Spring Silent Retreat

Tuesday April 19 - Monday April 25, 2022

with Murray Groom and Nan Goodship

Naramata Centre, Naramata, BC

This silent retreat is open to those who are new to silent retreat and those who are returning.

In the beauty of springtime at Naramata Centre, come listen to your soul through spiritual accompaniment, communing with nature, and being in a contemplative community. You will find rich quietness and a compassionate process to be with your own questions, life circumstances, and intuitions. In each spacious day, there will be ample opportunity for rest, restoration, discernment and communion with yourself, the natural world, and the Holy.

Practical Matters

The retreat begins at 4 pm on Tuesday. April 19. Departure is Monday morning, April 25. Each participant will have their own cabin with living area, bedroom and kitchen. Due to Covid protocols, we ask that you bring your own blankets (bed linens and towels are provided) and groceries and/or prepared meals. We will confirm Covid protocols before we begin and will respect them throughout the retreat.

Retreat cost of $1,125.00 includes accommodation, spiritual direction, site use, and community gatherings.

The Rhythm of our Days

Each morning begins with Sacred Pause in the chapel and ends with evening Vespers. Each day includes individual spiritual direction (5 sessions approximately 45 minutes each.)

This event is offered through the partnership of Pacific Jubilee and Naramata Centre
